Apple to start manufacturing iPhone 6 screens in May


According to a latest report Apple iPhone 6 screens will go into production by this May. For now, the screens which will be making into production are the 4.7 inch version. The much anticipated 5.5 version of iPhone 6 screens are said to be delayed because of some issues with the in-cell technology which are to be used in the same. The report suggest that for now only JDI will be start the production in May at Mobara. There are a couple of other manufacturers too, but it seems like they will start the production by June.

According to previous rumors Apple will announce their latest flagship devices by Autumn. The launch will see 2 variants of iPhone, one with a 4.7inch display and the other with 5.5 inch display. We had reported about a leaked image of the display size from iPhone 6, the 5.5 inc version yesterday from Japan. The 5.5 inch version will come with in-cell touchscreen technology which will apparently make the device much slimmer.
