Apple starts to sell iPad Mini Retina and iPad Air 4G variants in China

Starting form today Apple has started selling the 4G LTE variants of its iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display in China. iPad Air 4G LTE and WiFi comes with a price tag of CNY4,488 ($721) for the 16GB version and CNY6,588 ($1,060) for the 128GB model. Apple iPad Mini with retina display TD-LTE and WiFi variant cost CNY3,788 ($609) for the 16GB and CNY5,888 ($947) for the 128GB model. It was only an year before China government officially issued the 4G licenses to the three major carriers in China. But Apple customers had to wait until January before they had a deal with the world’s largest mobile carrier China Mobile with over 760 million subscribers. The first 4G device which Apple started to sell was iPhone and they started selling in January 2014.
