Google Glass has been updated and now you can simply wink to capture photos. This is one among the many features in the new Google Glass. While most the of the new features came with the software update XE12, the wink to capture feature is a part of the hardware upgrades. You will need to get the updated Google Glass that can be swapped for free to use the wink feature.
Another major change came with the update is the screen lock which works like it does in smartphones. It will prevent others from using the glass without the pass code. You will have to enter the correct pattern before you can use the glass on the screen locks card from the MyGlass mobile app. All this is for the Explorer version of Google Glass. According to Google, a much cheaper version of Google Glass will be launched by 2014.
