Beats Electronics streaming service, Beats Music, will be available via the web, iOS and Android applications within months. Eventually, a Windows 8 app will also join the gang. COO Luke Wood said that the service should launch “within the next few months” in the United States.
Those who are in the know, says that Beats service will focus on play lists. The company has hired some freelancers to put together playlists based on different artists or even the mood of the listener. Luke Woods confirmed this by saying that “We’re going to focus really heavily on playlists, because that’s how we consume music and that’s how most people consume music.”
He also added that by focusing on “a very specific idea”, Beats Music would be different than their competition, which includes the likes of Spotify and Rdio.
