Bing expands kid-friendly search to every grade school in the US

Ever worried what may pop up as a result of an innocent Google search? Worried your kids may see something they shouldn’t? Bing’s got your back. Microsoft has just expanded the availability of their Bing School Program (now known as Bing in the Classroom) to all K-12 institutions in the US. The move allows any school to fill out a form to remove adverts, get daily lesson plans and keep those adult content filters switched on.

As part of of the expansion, Microsoft are also making it easier for parents to check if a school is using Bing and how close they are to earning free Surface tablets though search credits.
