EE said that it wanted to have one million 4G customers by the end of 2013, but it looks like they won’t even have to wait that long. The UK carrier has just hit the one million customers mark four months ahead of its deadline whilst competitors are are only just starting their 4G roll-out. O2 and Vodafone both flicked the switch on their 4G networks less than two weeks ago and Three won’t be launching theirs until December.
Despite being the only company to offer 4G until recently, EE claims that UK adoption of 4G has been one of the fastest in the world so far.
