Facebook is reportedly building a mobile ad network and will announce it on April 30


Facebook will be unveiling their plans for a mobile ad network at their F8 Conference on April 30 according to a report out today. The report comes after Facebook began testing ads on third-party mobile apps earlier in the year, signalling their move towards directly working with their partners as opposed to outsourcing the work to an outside ad platform.

The report from Re/code says that Facebook will appeal to both publishers and developers by using their database to create more pin-pointed, targeted advertisements.
