Firefox loses global market share again while Chrome gains

Firefox is onto a free fall nowadays when it comes to the number of people who use it for daily browsing habits. The incredible browser from Google still continues to gain market share and when considering the numbers from Net Applications, Chrome is the only winner from last month. According to the latest report IE dropped by 0.02 percentage and this is something to worry for Microsoft considering this includes all the IE versions altogether.

In the same time period Firefox, Mozilla’s open source non profit free browser platform fell 0.40% and reach 60-month lowest share 17.68%. Chrome by gaining 0.56% from 16.28% is clearly the winner. Chrome is the only one which gained its market share over the last month and reached 16.84%. Both Safari and Opera slid by 0.13% and 0.05% respectively.
