Google has announced the security improvements they are bringing to Google Play Store for the increased safety of the users. According to the announcement Android will continuously audit your apps as you run those. Previously the audit was done only while you try to install a particular app. That has changed now and will display a security warning if the OS finds any issue with app when you launch it. Although you might not get infected from the malwares, still there are bogus apps which does nothing, fake antivirus scanners are examples for this. Google has noted in the announcement that they are not targeting these kinds of bogus apps with this update.
