Last week Google updated their Google Authenticator app for iOS devices which actually wiped out all the existing user accounts from the system. A lot of users complained about the bug and google heard them. Today Google has updated their Authenticator app for iOS which apparently helps you to restore the wiped out data.
According to Google, the bug in thee last version didn’t actually delete the user accounts in the app, instead they were simply not being displayed. But this new update shows up duplicates if you tried to create new accounts because you thought the information were wiped by the app. The latest app version is 2.0.1 which comes with the bug fix.
