QSAlpha announced on Wednesday that their ‘hackproof’ Quasar IV Android smartphone is now going into production.
The company revealed that their manufacturing partner is “one of the world’s largest consumer electronics OEM manufacturers.” Rumours are swirling that this partner is Samsung, who are known for their interest in security with their Samsung Knox product. Another talking point is Samsung’s interest in niche products, such as the Galaxy Round that was announced yesterday.
However, with this smartphone, hardware isn’t the biggest concern for QSAlpha, it’s their take on Android that will be their talking point. QSAlpha have said that that the phone will include Android 4.3, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, a 13MP camera and will pop out into the world sometime in 2014.
