Google play store will update all the apps in your account unless they need new permissions as soon as your phone is connected to Internet. Although it is a good idea to update all your apps to the latest version, people may find it annoying to find the updates slowing down the Internet connection while you’re at some really important work.
Here is the steps to turn off / disable auto updates on Google Play Store.
- Open Google Play Store on your smartphone.
- Press the menu button and open the “Settings” sub menu.
- Under the General section tap on Auto-update apps.
- Tap on Do not auto-update apps to select it.
Here is a video tutorial which explains how you can turn off the automatic updates on any android smartphone.
