The gold version of the iPhone 5S sold out just as quickly as they were introduced and Samsung have just announced their own gold version of the Galaxy S4 and now HTC have joined in on the fun. HTC have made five HTC One phones out of 18 carat gold (yes, genuine gold) that are priced at around £2,750 ($4,400) each. The five copies were made to commemorate the 18th anniversary of the MOBO awards, which honours black artists and urban music in the UK.
It’s the “most exclusive and expensive smartphone every produced by HTC,” according to MOBO, and the phone even features the MOBO logo laser eteched onto the back of the device.
