If you live in Canada and you’ve been waiting for a HTC One Max, sadly you won’t be able to get one by just hopping into your carriers stores. HTC said that its latest phablet device will not be crossing the Canadian border. In their release, HTC noted that the models already in Canada are “sufficient for the Canadian marketplace”. This basically means the firms sales in the country is not good enough to warrant HTC releasing the device there.
“HTC devices differ from country to country, we work closely with carrier partners in each region to determine what is best for their consumers. Every market is different and has specific needs and demands. We consider a number of factors such as, the HTC devices currently available, the competition etc. At this time the current HTC line up of devices is sufficient for the Canadian marketplace.”-HTC statement
