Images suggest that Samsung are working on a 7-inch Galaxy smartphone

As every day passes, smartphones seem to just get bigger and better. If you believe some of the latest images coming out of China, that trend is continuing, big time.

According to bestmobs, a device with a 7-inch display was spotted on Chinese electronics certification site TENAA and been code named SM-T2558. The guys at bestmob claim that they have scooped the information directly from TENAA when it came in for approval.

The images show a device which is similar to the Galaxy Mega 6.3 smartphone, showing the front, back and side view

The site states, “The Samsung SM-T2558 might be from the Galaxy Mega family. If it is, probably it will be named as Samsung Galaxy Mega 7.0 because of its 7-inch screen.”

.Due to the listing, we also can grab a look at some of the devices specs. According to TENAA, the smartphone may come with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. You’ll likely find a 7 inch display and a smartphone running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system. The device is expected to have a 13MP rear camera along with a 2MP front camera. The site further goes on to state that the device will come in two variants; 3G and 4G.
