Intex launches Aqua Octa the world’s first true octa-core smartphone

Intex has launched the world’s first true octa-core smartphone in India. The device is named as Aqua Octa and is being powered by MediaTek MT6592. This is the first ever octa-core chip which lets the phone to use all the eight cores at the same time.

The phone equipped with a 1.7 GHz MT6592 cpu, 6 inch screen with 720 x 1280px resolution, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, expandable microSD slot with support up to 32 GB card, 3MP rear and 5MP front cameras and a 2300mAh battery. The device runs on Android 4.2.2 and offers 3G connectivity. The device is available in 2 colours, black and white. If you order the phone before January 8th you will get an Intex Power Bank 3000mAh and a Craggy headphone for free. Intex Aqua Octa comes with a price tag of 19,999 INR ($321 USD) in India.
