Apple tends to focus very heavily on camera quality and battery life in their products, mainly because they believe they are the most important features that users want. That said, there have been some new predictions on what improvements the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 could see.
Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst from KGI Securities has said that the upgrade should be fairly substantial. The last generation iPad and iPad Mini both came with the same camera we saw in the iPad 3, which was a 5 megapixel rear camera with an f/2.4 aperture. However, Kuo expects the next gen Apple devices to come with 8 megapixel rear cameras and larger apertures.
However, there is no word on whether these new cameras will be the same as the one in the iPhone 5S.
