Given that on many of our daily tasks are part of a routine, it seems that we’ve reached a point where we will need computers, smartphones and other electric devices, to predict our next move or need and take care of it before we have to ask. This would be not only a great help and a luxury, but it could also become a necessary for those who remain truly busy throughout the whole day.
According to TheNextWeb, the next version of the iOS, Apple’s operating system that is used on the iPhone, the iPad, and the iPad Touch, will have this feature on a premature stage of course. This feature will be included on the beta version of the iOS 9, which is expected to circulate at the same date with the iPhones 6S and 6S Plus, towards the end of September. And to be honest, that seems to be the new operating system’s most interesting feature. The ability to – not entirely but to a good point – read our minds!
For instance, let’s say that everyday, while you’re on the way to work, you listen to your music. After the first few times that you repeat this routine, the iOS will monitor your behavior and soon once you connect your headphones, your phone will ask whether you’d like the specific service to be activated, thus making the whole process easier, shorter and to be honest also a bit… flattering! It’s nice when you’re being taken good care, isn’t it?
Also, if every morning that you wake up, the first thing you do is check your email using your iPhone, then the device will record this activity. After the first couple of times, your phone will know you well enough so that after greeting you in the morning, it will ask you whether you want it to check your emails for you.
Not sold yet? The beta version will also have a series of apps that run based on your location. So when you’re home, your iPhone will be able to suggest different apps than when you’re outdoors.
And all those will be a part of Siri’s thoughtful function, which means that the interaction will be much easier than it would be if you had to type.
The iOS 9 was already an interesting expected release, but knowing that such a feature has been added, things get a lot more interesting. Thankfully, we won’t have to wait too long for the beta version. So stay tuned to read all the latest news on this and many other hot topics!
