The latest Amazon Kindle Fire tablets have come to the UK, just in time for Christmas. The new Kindle Fire HDX comes in 7-inch and 8.9 inch sizes, with the smaller option coming with a 1,920×1,200 pixel display, a quad-core processor and will set you back £199. If you fancy pre-ordering one for your loved one (or yourself!) then you can head to this link.

The 8.9 inch model packs a  2,560×1,600 pixel display and also packs a quad-core processor. Both devices will run the new Fire OS 3.0 software, which is based on Android’s Jelly Bean OS.

If just hopping on WiFi isn’t enough and you want data on the move, then you can opt for a 4G model but they are fairly expensive. The 7-inch 4G model will cost you £269 whilst the 8.9 inch 4G model will cost a massive £399. The 4G service will come from Vodafone.
