With 4K content becoming more and more mainstream, Lenovo has unwrapped two new 4K monitors at CES2014, with one of the two having Android built-in.
The ThinkVision Pro2840m is the more basic of the two. It will be available in April 2014 for $799, coming with 28 inches of screen, a 3840×2160 resolution, touch sensitive buttons, dual speakers and a full function which will allow you to swivel, tilt and rotate the screen to your hearts content.
The ThinkVision 28 is a computer monitor which packs a huge punch. It also comes with a 28-inch “ultra-high resolution” 4K display carrying a 3840×2160 resolution. This monitor however featues an Android KitKat interface for entertainment, with on-demand content that can be streamed via the monitor. You’ll also find a DisplayPort, Ethernet, and three HDMI ports alongside two 5-watt speakers, two noise cancelling microphones, and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera within. All of this within a monitor, can you say entertainment centre?
The ThinkVision 28 will be available in select markets in July 2014 with a price tag of $1199.
