LG has started sending out press event invitations for announcing LG G3 today and it seems like they will be hosting a number of press events. As per recent reports, LG G3 will come in a number of different versions.LG G3 is rumored to have a Quad-HD display, Snapdragon quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 13/ 16MP rear camera with OIS+ and KitKat.
As of now LG has started sending out the invitations for the press events on May 27th in San Francisco, New York, and London. Another news source reported that LG is planning to host press events on May 28th as well in Seoul, Singapore, and Istanbul. This would make it one of the biggest smartphone launch from the company in recent years. LG might launch their Android Wear-powered G Watch on these press events.
In another news LG D855 received its Postel (the country’s equivalent of the FCC) certification in Indonesia. This model number is thought to be a variant of the few LG G3 models which are set to be launched in May. According to the user agent information from LG’s website, the phone will have 1080 x 1920 pixel display, Android 4.4 2 KitKat and LTE connectivity. But considering LG G3 is rumored to have Quad HD (1440 x 2560) display we might be looking at a lower spec’ed variant of LG G3 if not entirely another device.
