Moto E shows up on Indian import website, may cost around 8000 INR

Moto EMotorola has already started sending out invitations for Motorola press event on May 13th on which they are planning to announce their budget smartphone Moto E. Until now there was no report for considering the name Moto E as a legitimate info. But today the name surfaced on an Indian import data website Zauba. That means the “priced for everyone” smartphone will have the name Moto E.

The listing reveals that Motorola has already started importing the devices to India which hints us a “very soon” launch date, may be the device might become available to buy from the very next day after the official announcement. The import data listing shows that the devices are being shipped to Bangalore where the e-retailer Flipkart happens to base their operations in. This could mean that just like Moto X and Moto G this Moto E will also be sold exclusively by the same retailer Flipkart.

Now according to the listing, the cost per unit for the device is 6,330 INR which would mean the device will be available for the customers to buy at around 8000 INR. Of course this or the launch date is not confirmed and sadly we will have to wait until Motorola announces something.

According to previous rumors Moto E will come with a 4.3-inch display, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP rear camera, a 1900 mAh battery, 3G support, and dual-SIM connectivity (in select models). The device will run Android 4.4 out of the box.
