New Exploit in iOS7 Lets You Make Calls Even If The Phone Is Locked

Apple’s latest operating system iOS7 is really an innovation and a major overhaul when compared with the last os version. But since its new and has a completely new way of managing stuffs, it is open with several vulnerabilities too. A couple of days before we reported about a bug in iOS7 which lest you bypass the iOS7 lock screen and access social media account of the phone’s owner. Today we have reports of another bug in the os which lets you make the calls bypassing the lock screen.

The new vulnerability can be exploited very easily from what we have seen. All it takes is you to open up the emergency dialer and type on any number you want, then pressing the call button will make the call. But the phone will be frozen and rebooted, but still the call will be made. Last lockscreen bypassing bug can be fixed by turning of the control center at the lock screen, but this vulnerability can’t be fixed unless Apple comes up with an update.

Apple has already addressed the issue and says they are already in works for fixing the bug.

“Apple takes user security very seriously. We are aware of this issue, and will deliver a fix in a future software update.”
