Sales staff at Apple Australia have been instructed to point any customers looking to order a new Mac Pro toward Apple’s own online store, according to a report from Electronista. Any default Mac pro configurations purchased today would not be scheduled to ship until February, whilst those splurging on customised units could face an even longer wait depending upon the config they have choose.
The all new Mac Pro announced back in October with a December launch date. Apple started accepting pre-orders on December 18th, with shipping starting a week later. Some who orderd a base-model Mac Pro recieved their units on Christmas Eve, whilst those who wanted customised units are still waiting.
