The Nokia Lumia 929 is heading to Verizon Wireless in early November and it appears it will be an affordable large-screen Windows Phone handset. The Lumia 929 has already been leaked online but the latest details are hinting that it won’t have the 6 inch display of the Lumia 1520. It is thought that instead the Lumia 929 will come with a 5-inch 1080p display and will set you back $500 off-contract. This should drop to around $99 if you were to purchase the phone on a 2-year contract.
More good news for Lumia fans come in the form that the Lumia 929 will come with a 20 megapixel PureView camera, just like the alleged Lumia 1520. The Lumia 929 will also come with a dual LED flash for better lighting in dark scenes.
The rumoued release date for the Lumia 929 is set for early November, possibly around November 8th. If that prediction comes true, it means that Nokia will have two high profile devices launching on the two biggest US carriers just in time for the holidays. The Lumia 1520 is also expected to make its arrival on AT&T on November 8th.
