Just a few weeks after rolling out to multiple regions worldwide, a Nokia X update has already made it’s way round. The new software version (11.1.1) has just begun rolling out and brings with it some minor changes as well as performance improvements.
The Nokia X is the first Android based smartphone from Nokia and it would seem that the phone has been a big hit with buyers worldwide. Although the update coins itself as v11.1.1, the core version of Android used on the phone is still Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
As well as some usual performance improvements, another feature of the update is that Nokia X users will now be able to change the tile colours in third-party apps. This update is an OTA (over-the-air) update coming it at 16MB in size. If you haven’t yet received a system notification telling you to update, you can check manually by heading over to Settings, followed by About Phone and then System Updates.
