Nokia’s First Ever Phablet Nokia Lumia 1520 aka Bandit Image Surfaces

Nokia Lumia 1520 Bandit leakedThe phablet trend is still going strong and today we saw the first image of Nokia’s phablet Nokia Lumia 1520 previously known as Bandit. The phablet is rumoured to be marketed as Lumia 1520 and in facts is Nokia’s first phablet. The official looking image of Lumia 1520 is leaked by @evleaks and hints the possibility of nothing but a larger Lumia phone.

The phablet is rumoured to have a 6 inch full HD display, polycarbonate body, quad core snapdragon 800 processor and a 20 mega pixel camera with Windows Phone 8 GDR3 operating system running on the device. If the rumours turns out to be legit, this will be the first ever windows phone to have a quad core cpu and a full HD display.

Some rumours suggest that Nokia is planning to launch the device sometime later in September and will be available in different colours like all the other Lumia series phones. According to these rumours the phablet is now in tests with AT&T. Now another interesting thing to note is AT&T is offering Nokia Lumia 1020 for just $199.99 on contract. The upcoming launch of the next gen phone might be the reason for this.
