If you’re in the UK and you use O2 as your carrier, you may experience some trouble connecting.
O2 confirmed on their website that there is an outage within parts of its network after angry customers began to complain about not being able to access their data, complete their phone calls and sed text messages on Thursday afternoon.
“Some customers may be experiencing difficulties using their mobile phone at the moment,” O2 wrote on its website. “We’re working to fix the problem. We apologise for any inconvenience.” O2 has also taken to Twitter to calm customers, offering apologies to those affected.
Some customers may only have experienced there data connection is stuck, however, for others it’s a little bit worse than that. The problems began around 10:45am on the 3rd October according to O2’s website. They have not offered an estimated time for when the network would return to full strength. They simply said: “Our engineers are continuing to monitor the situation. We apologise for any inconvenience.”
