OnePlus compares its One to the new HTC One M8

The all new HTC One M8 has finally been released at an announcement a few hours ago in New York City. Customers in both the UK and US can buy the phone from today.

OnePlus, a new China-based company that are getting ready to launch a CyanogenMod-based smartphone called OnePlus One have already said that their new phone is better than HTC’s One M8. Mainly because it has a 5.5 inch display with Content-adaptive backlight control (CABC) technology, a six-lens 13MP rear camera, a 3,100 mAh battery, and “no extra logo on front.” In addition, an unlocked OnePlus One will cost less than $400, while HTC’s new One is priced at $600 – $650 off contract.

However, this boast comes with a problem. Whilst it looks good on paper, no-one knows what the OnePlus One looks like and it isn’t even announced. It’s official release will take place on April 23rd.
