With iOS7 being shown off to the world at the recent WWDC confernce, users have been scrambling to get a closer look at just what the system will be like and more importantly, what it does. When it comes to Apple’s iOS, people want to know how the changes will affect the use of their phone.
Unless you’ve shelled out for a developer account, you won’t have access to iOS7 until at least the fall season. Even if you do have a devloper account, you may not want to burden yourself with bugs and glitches when trying to use your phone. However, a website now offers you the chance to get a feel for iOS7 direct from your browser, for free.
A website going by the name of Recombu is offering users the chance to preview iOS7 direct from their browsers.
You’ll be able to launch most native iOS apps and view the new design. You can also take photos using the camera app if you’re using Chrome or Firefox.
This isn’t some fancy iOS7 build built into a website however, most of it is screenshots put together in a nice interface and many apps will not allow you to go further than one level in. There are some apps however, such as the mail app which will allow you to get right into the application, right down to viewing an email.
So if you’re looking for fancy animations or the usual slick Apple user experience, you’re looking in the wrong place. For those without access to iOS7 however, this is as good as it will get for now.
