Reserve Your Windows 8 Pro Copy Starting from Today

Microsoft has announced that customers can start reserving their copies of Windows 8 Pro and start pre-ordering Windows 8 Machines From today.

The latest OS from Microsoft has lots of differences compared to its last OS windows 7. Even the packaging is different. Microsoft says the new packaging is made completely out of Paper and the only non-paper part is the DVD of Windows 8. The package is 41% less weighing compared to Windows 7 Package. The design is also seems to be pretty awesome with the metro like Microsoft Logo.

Here are some images of Windows 8 Packages from Microsoft Facebook Wall:

The reservation will be available on almost all major online retailers like Amazon, Microsoft Store, Best Buy etc as well as local retailers. From October 26th 2012 you will have a chance to upgrade to windows 8 at a lower cost which is said to be 39.99USD which I find to be pretty awesome deal for such an operating system. Anyway you should be having either Windows XP SP3, Vista, or Windows 7 to perform this upgrade. If you’re having an eligible Windows 7 PC, you have one more good news. You will be able to perform this upgrade for just 14.99USD. But  its only available for the PC’s which have been bought in the time period of June 2, 2012 and January 31, 2013.

The pre-order for systems with windows 8 from major manufacturers also starts from today. You can pre-order PCs with Windows 8 Pro from all major manufacturers like Dell, Acer, HP, Samsung Etc.

Will you be reserving your copy of Windows 8, or are you going to wait till October 26th so that you will be able to upgrade it? Let us hear through the comments!
