According to a rumour Microsoft has already picked their next CEO. The news comes in from CNET whcih reported that an unknown source has disclosed the information about the next CEO to Chinese blog WPDang. The company has decided that the current chief operating officer Kevin Turner will lead the company for the next 2 to 3 years before handing out the CEO position to Stephen Elop, former CEO of Nokia.
This might be an indication of Microsoft’s plans to teach Elop all about handling the massive and complicated company before he gets the position. Anyway nothing is official yet, so take it with a pinch of salt.
