The latest rumours suggest that, Samsung might have pushed the Galaxy S5 launch to a much early date than it was scheduled to. The reports are suggesting a January 2014 launch. Well, we’re not sure, you shouldn’t be too. This is a very early rumour and you should take it with an extra pinch of salt.
It’s no secret that Samsung Galaxy S4 sales were great when it was launched and it slowly declined over time. It just took two months to reach the 20 million sales milestone, but should the sales had kept up, we could have already seen the 50 million sold units milestone. But that didn’t happen, neither did the 40 or 30 millionth sale milestone.
A Korean site joseilbo.com reported that, because of the above mentioned sole reason Samsung has decided to accelerate their plans and launch their next flagship on coming January. Normally Samsung launches their flagship devices in the Galaxy S series in spring time. So this is one hell of acceleration if you ask me. Anyway even though the site says its the Galaxy S5 which will get launched by January 2014, it could be their other flagship device from Galaxy F series too. If you remember, last month we had posted about Samsung’s plans to launch a super premium Galaxy series known as Galaxy F series. Samsung Galaxy F series smartphones are rumoured to launch sometime in early 2014 from quite a long time. Anyway we will be seeing one or the other flagship from Samsung if this rumour is legit.
