The rumors pertaining to the mini version of Samsung’s latest flagship device Galaxy S5 Mini have been around for quite some time now. Now apart from the rumors we have very little information about the device officially. But today Samsung in it’s official New Zealand website confirmed that their Galaxy S5 Mini will be water resistant. According to the information posted on the website, the devices warranty will be void if the device is kept submerged in the water for more than 30 minutes. The information was posted on the site as a mistake and has been removed from the website since then.
According to the recent reports and rumors, the Galaxy S5 Mini will come with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED 720p display, Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, an IR blaster, and a 2,100mAh battery. The device will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box as well.
