Samsung recently announce that they will announce their latest flagship device Galaxy S5 in India on March 27. The same day they are planning to start taking pre-orders and announce the pricing for the flagship device. The device won’t probably be shipped until April 11th according to latest reports.
Until now there is no information about which variant of Galaxy S5 will be launched in India. The wait will be over by March 27th in regards to which variant will India get, the unannounced Exynos variant of the Galaxy S5 or the Snapdragon 801 model like the U.S. and Europe. The globally announced variant of Galaxy S5 has a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display of 1080p resolution, a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16-megapixel camera, 16GB of storage and a microSD slot, Wi-Fi, HSPA+, LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC connectivity, and a 2,800 mAh battery. The device will run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box.
