Remember when we posted a story regarding rumours about Sony’s plans to launch a camera lens accessory for all the smartphones? Well we now have a leaked image of this camera lens accessory. The device will enable you to take out standing pictures with your smart phones. Its as easy as fixing it on your smart phone and taking a picture.
According to the rumours the camera lens doesn’t have any LCD screens or camera controls. You have to attach the lens to your smart phone which will then communicate through WiFi or NFC. It is compatible with both Android and iOS and will ahve a built in sensor, Bionz processor and SD card slot. The name of the attachment is said to be DSC-QX100 and will ship with the same sensor used in the RX100 Mark II, but with an enhanced zoom of 10X and a 1/2.3-inch 18-megapixel CMOS sensor.
The rumour comes from SonyAlphaRumours and doesn’t provide any information on its price of availability. Guess we will have to wait for more rumours to know that.
