Finally the Xperia Z1 aka Honami rumours can take a rest as Sony announced Xperia Z1 the latest flagship from them at the IFA 2013 at Berlin. The 20.7 mega pixel camera phone comes with a unibody design with an aluminium shell. The phone is a fully functional camera phone with a lot more than just a good camera. The camera on the phone is a 20.7 mega pixel and features Sony G lens.
Sony has done serious work to make the phone really worth the money. The camera experience is a whole new level on this phone with its incredible features such as Info-Eye, Time Shift Burst Mode, Cloud storage etc. The Info-Eye feature uses augmented reality to show contextual information about the image you’re capturing. The time shift burst mode lets you take upto 61 images within just 2 seconds. The cloud storage lets you store the image in the cloud using PlayMemories Online and all the images will be automatically sorted and categorized.
When it comes to the phone’s hardware we must say the phone is a beast at it. Sony Xperia Z1 features a 5 inch 1080p(1080 x 1980 pixel) Triluminous display with a tempered glass with X-Reality. The phone is water resistant and has the IP55/IP58 certifications, which is better than that of Sony Xperia Z.
The device is being powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 chipset which comes with a 2.2 GHz quad-core processor and Adreno 330 graphics. The phone also features 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage, expandable micoSD slot and a 3000 mAh battery. The phone will be running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
