T-Mobile Galaxy S III is now receiving the Android 4.1 update

T-Mobile has begun to roll out Android 4.1 updates to its customers who have a Galaxy S III device. This means you can receive ‘Jelly Bean’ on your device with the US mobile carrier rolling out the update today.

T-Mobile is the second carrier to roll out the update with Sprint being the first company to do so.

There are two ways to update your device:

Over the air (OTA) update to T999UVLJA: The update is available to download from T-Mobile. It is recommended to connect over Wi-Fi to complete the update.See below steps to manually request the OTA update.

Manual download to T999UVLJA: If you did not want to update via OTA, you can update via Samsung Kies. Ensure you are on the latest version of Kies before attempting the update.
