The bigger, brighter Just Cause is here to make your Christmas full of entertainment

If you are looking for a game to keep you entertained till Christmas Holiday, I think your first choice is Fallout 4. You should even consider The Witcher 3, it is a very big game and after the release of its first paid expansion, it got even bigger. There is also Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, after the previous year’s devastating release of Assassin’s Creed Unity, the franchise has recaptured some its lost glory through this new installment. Still if you have already finished these games (although I personally think that it is not possible to finish Fallout 4 yet, the game is just too massive) you could try Square Enix’s Just Cause 3, which is also a big game.

There is a YouTube channel 8-bit Bastard, they regularly update the size of a game world, by simply walking across the map. They ran this experiment on a few number of games, most of which you would expect to be huge, but you would be surprised. Minecraft takes only 35 minutes, Fallout 4 takes 41 minutes, and Grand Theft Auto takes respectable 1 hour 55 minutes and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is even bigger takes just about 2 hours 10 minutes.

The largest game world they have seen is the world of Just Cause 2, it took them 5 hours to walk, and Just Cause 3 beats it by a large margin, 8 hours and 40 minutes. They not only just walked in Just Cause 3, but they also had to take a swim to cover the entire map.

Some of us may think that this is the largest game map outside of an MMO, assuming that there are bigger MMO worlds than that of Just Cause 3.
The game was just recently released, so it is still not clear, how long it takes to complete the whole game. The answer to the question is not easy because of the sandbox nature of the title. Although the average gameplay hour of Just Cause 2 was almost 42 hours, so as usual we think that this new installment should be bigger than the previous one, the opinion is base on the amount of world in the game to explore.
