Gresso have some history when it comes to launching luxury, expensive smartphones and they’ve only gone and released another. The company has tapped into the Android market with their limited edition Radical smartphone series.

If your wallet isn’t already dangerously low on funds due to the festive period, you can pick up the bottom line model, the Radical R1, for $1,800. If that’s not enough for you, you can splurge $2,300 to get a logo plate decorated with your choice white or yellow 18k gold, not too shabby, eh?

However, for that price, you’re probably expecting some high powered super-phone but that’s unfortunately not the case. The Radicals will come with Android 4.1.2, a 4.5-inch qHD screen, dual SIM support, an 8MP rear camera, 36GB internal storage and a quad-core 1.2GHz processor. However, if you’re debating on whether or not to splash the cash, you better make your mind up soon – there are only 999 units available.
