Have you been wondering which smartphone to buy recently? Do you have a limited budget of just 15,000 INR? Do you like your phone to run on Android? Then don’t worry! In this article, I will be writing about the top 5 best Android phones under 15,000 INR, available to buy in India.
#1 – Moto G, both 8GB and 16 GB variants
Like many of you can probably guess, the latest smartphone from Motorola, the Moto G holds the number one spot on this list. If you ask me, this is the phone for you. The Moto G packs a lot of features which you won’t normally find in smartphones in this price range. The dualSIM feature is just the icing on the cake. The device comes with a 4.5 inch display with 326 ppi, 1GB RAM, 5 mega pixel rear camera and a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor.
#2 – Lenovo S820
The Lenovo Ideaphone S820 holds the second spot on our list. It comes with a 4.7 inch display with the ppi of 312 pixels. One feature that stands out is its 12 mega pixel camera and the Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. Like the Moto G, it also has 1 GB of RAM. It comes with a 2000 mAh battery which should be more than enough for the device considering the specs and features.
#3 – Sony Xperia M
Sony Xperia M is another mid range device under 15,000 INR. Like the above devices, this one also comes with 1 GB RAM and a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. The primary camera in this device is 5 mega pixels and offers 720p video recording. This also offers you a battery of 2070 mAh, just like the Moto G.
#4 – Samsung Galaxy Core
Samsung is known for the sheer number of mid range devices they sell in India. In my opinion, the Galaxy Core is the best device when it comes to specs at this price range. This is the smallest of the devices we list here with its 4.3 inch display. The display resolution is also not that good if that’s your thing. Coming in at just 217 ppi. The device’s memory can be expanded to 64GB and comes with an internal memory of 8 GB. It offers 1 GB of RAM and a Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A5 processor. The device comes with a 1800 mAh battery which is OK for the given specs.
#5 – Huawei G610s
I’m going to wrap up this post with a device from Huawei. The device offers 1 GB RAM, 4 GB internal memory(expandable upto 32 GB with a microSD card) and a Quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A7 processor. The rear camera is 5 MP and offers 720p video recording. The front camera is however, only VGA (not good for those selfies!) If you’re looking for a bigger device in this price range, then this is the device for you. It comes with a 5 inch display with 220 ppi. It also has the biggest battery out of the phones on this list, packing a 2150 mAh battery.
If you would like to compare the specs of the above devices, here is a little table to make it easier for you.[table id=35 /]
