1. Titanium Back up – The ultimate back up app
Titanium back up is the one app which I personally think should come with Android itself. The app lets you back up all your current apps along with the configuration/data and then sync it to cloud storage. That’s not all, the app lets you delete system apps(bloatwares), move apps, freeze apps(prevent apps from running) etc. Upgrading the app is totally worth it, if you ask me.

3. Root explorer or ES File Explorer File Manager
A file explorer which can browse to your devices root is an essential app if you have rooted your smartphone. There are mainly 2 very popular applications for that, they are Root explorer and ES File explorer. Both these apps are pretty good at what they do. With root explorer, you will get a a file explorer with one of the most simple and minimal interface. This one is perfect for those people who like minimal designs, but will cost you. There are no free versions for the app. But if you ask me, its worth paying for. I am an happy customer.
Now if you’re going for ES file explorer, you will get an app with a lot of inbuilt features like task killer, cloud storage client etc. This app is free too.
This is a must have if you don’t have unlimited data plans or you would like to prohibit particular apps from accessing Internet. It is basically using linux IPtables and acts as a front end for IPtables on android. With this app you can make custom rules too.

This app does the obvious. You can basically clear the cache file for all the apps with just one click using this app. There are 2 versions, one being free but ad supported, the other one is ad free version but a paid version.
