Zauba is a website that tracks imports and exports going into and out of India. Occasionally, the site picks up an unknown device or two and it appears on the site. For example, here we a Samsung phone with the model number SM-G800F has been imported India via South Korea. The site notes that the device was bought into the country for R&D testing and is valued at 31,790 INR ($520 USD) each. A total of 7 units of the mystery device were imported on March 5th through the 7th.
So, just what is the SM-G800F? It is a ‘lower’ model than the Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) which also made a recent appearance on Zauba recently at 33,061 INR ($541 USD).According to one speculative report, the SM-G800F could be the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo.
According to one theory, a Samsung Galaxy S5 mini has been ruled out due to the difference in value on Zauba between the S4 and the S4 mini came to more than the 1271 INR difference between the SM-G900F and SM-G800F. The difference in value on the site between the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo is closer to what we are seeing between these two devices.
