Whilst EE is celebrating after hitting one million 4G customers, Vodafone is starting to enter the market and get you on board with 4G. The carriers 4G network was only limited to London at launch but will be extended to another five cities shortly. Vodafone says that it plans to roll out its 4G network to those in Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield on September 28th. That’s not all though, Vodafone will throw in an extra 4GB of data if you sign up before the end of October.
Vodafone does already offer customers unlimited data for the first three months of their tariff, along with your choice of Spotify Premium or a Premiership football bundle (which is free for six months). Currently, Vodafone’s network is fairly small but they have said that they plan to push their network live in Bradford, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle by the end of the year.
